It has been such a long time since I wrote a blog because I've been so busy but I have received many emails over the past few days about an article written about me on the Wikipedia website and would like to speak on it.

I would first like to start off by saying that I am so pleased and excited that someone who is a fan of my music and shows would take the time out to write and publish an article about me for this great website. I am also intregued to see that it has caused such debate on the website. I make music to bring people together, make them dance, laugh, sing and have a good time with strangers, friends and family. I love and thank all my fans who support me and like my music.

As far as this article goes, I'm so humbled and excited that there is even an article for people to discuss. With that being said, I would like to ask that all the rules and regulations of the Wikipedia website please be followed and that if I don't fit the criteria for an article then that is okay by me. The fact that I am receiving such love is validation enough for me to continue to do what I'm doing.

Hey Guys and Gals! So much has gone on since I blogged last. I am have had a video premiere on LOGO's NewNowNext PopLab hosted by Oscar and Grammy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson!!! I've been interviewed and featured on radio shows like "This Show Is So Gay with Ken and Becca"!!!! Been featured in 2 magazine spreads for Horizon Baracelona Magazine and Expressions Magazine!!! Signed a contract with New York Promotions company Keneritz Media!!! As well as preview my t-shirt line and perform at Philly Fashion Week Afterparties!!! This is been a rollercoaster so far and it's only just begun. Getting ready to start pre-production on my new music video...(stay tuned to find out what it is)...as well as putting together a new show!!! This is all so surreal and it's just beginning!!!!

Hello Daniel Gray World! I've been so busy and away (but you can follow me on Twitter for more up-to-date updates! at twitter.com/danielgrayworld).

I recently had a run in with a venue who booked my show and then wanted to try to up book a show because of my race. While I have experience dealing with racism (I am from the south people), I this was the first time experiencing racism with my work. The way it was done was so sneaky, and excuse filled, it wasn't until the Talent Buyer (who was furious by the way) called and told me what was going on did I know the real reason.

This man loved the music, loved the fact that we got press for the event, but then saw who I was and who my dancers were and there were one to many "black people" for his liking. I am a big advocate for equality and fairness and it is sad to see that there are people that are still like this in the world. I know that prejudice will never be 100% radicated unfortunatly because there will always be ignorance in the world! (But hey let's be positive and dream about a world of tolerance, grace and love!!!)

Family and Friends Vs. Work and Career

So as everyone knows I did a show yesterday in Charlotte, North Carolina. The show was great and the people in North Carolina couldn't be any nicer and sweeter then ice cream topped with honey!!!! There was an issue that I ran into before the show though that I would like to share with you....

A close friend of mine passed away on Monday of cancer. I was lucky enough to spend time with her and say my final goodbyes before she passed. While I was happy to perform in North Carolina, I was wondering if it was appropriate for me to do so. The dancers and I had a great time at the event, and the coordinators couldn't have been nicer, I'm just wondering if I did do the right thing. Email me and let me know what you think.

So I finished doing my live show in Philadelphia and Newark yesterday and got home really late. I had such a great time and the crowds couldn't have been nicer. The dancers and I were sporting our Jersey Trash Wear and getting wild and crazy on stage. Stay tuned for some photos and videos from the show and after the show. This tour will be CRAZY SICK!!!! Can't wait for everyone to see it!!!

I returned from a day out in rehearsals, meetings, and interviews, to find out that the California Supreme Court upheld the discrimination law known as Prop 8 (or Prop H8 to some). This is truely a sad moment for Americans and a slap in the face of Civil Rights!!! Those of us who support Equality For All will not give up the fight. This is only proof that our voices need to be louder, our marches longer, our hearts fuller, and our heads higher then ever before. We will show this country and all people around the world that this we will not sink quietly into the night, we won't walk away without a fight, we are all here, all Americans and we will take a stand.

I've Figured It Out...(What's Going On in the Government)

OK, so I know a lot of people don't like it when I get really preachy and political, but I don't care because that's what I do. I have taken the first 100 days to observe and watch the President of the United States of America and really see what he's all about and what he is trying to do. I can see that he is trying to change government, he is trying to be bipartisan and work together with everyone, but there is a problem...CONGRESS!!!!!!

We have made one branch of goverment change, but for the rest it is business as usual!!! What's worse is that, no one in CONGRESS wants to work together. You either have the Democrates, who are acting like the nerds on the playground who now has the $400,000 a year salary and the smokin' hot wife, and now pick on the guy who picked on them, or you have the Republicans who after eight years of getting their way are now acting the the spoiled brats that hold their breathe until they pass out...I say ENOUGHT ALREADY!!!!

What both of these groups are failing to understand is that being in congress is not about their ego. It's not about their party, it's not about their own personal gain...this is about THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA!!!! WE WANT CHANGE!!! WE WANT FREEDOME!!! WE WANT YOU TO DO WHAT WE ELECTED YOU TO DO!!! SO STOP ALL THE PETTY PLAYGROUND FIGHTING AND DO YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

Being Sick SUCKS

I was in the hospital a lot last week, with migrans and fevers (not a fun week at all)!!! I got nothing done and was stuck in bed for a long time. On the upside though, I did lose 5lbs and that's always a plus. Well back to work now in putting all this fun stuff together. Can't wait to share all this cool stuff with you guys.

Ok, so I'm not supposed to be saying anything really about the dates, cities, of venues of the tour yet...BUT...I want to tell you we just are finishing up some deals for the launch of the tour and shows ALL OVER!!!!! I am so excited you guys and I can't wait for you all to see everything I have in store for you guys!!!!

Also I have some shoot dates for new photos, videos, and even a new album launch possibly (but shhh, don't tell anyone, LOL)!!! This is all going to be great and I can't wait to share all my hard work with you guys!!!!

Protect Marriage-So Let's Outlaw Divorce!!!

I hear many people talking about protecting the sanctity of marriage as a reason why gay people shouldn't be allowed to be married. They say it is against the Bible and God's will and commandments. So if that is the case why don't we outlaw divorce.

The Bible speaks much more explicitly and in greater detail about the sin of divorce. If you are in a marriage you are in until DEATH DO YOU PART!!! We have reality shows auctioning off marriage as a prize, we have people that get "taken away by the lights of Vegas" and get married to the first person they meet in a bar only to get divorced in 24 hours. We have heterosexual men and women who treat marriage as a game, a sport to be won.

Granted there are many people who have a legitimate reason to get divorced because of domestic abuse, ill will, mental abuse and more, but according to the Bible and what people are preaching about, that is WRONG!!!

People also say gay marriage will force homosexuality on children and create more homosexuals. This is one of the most ludicrous and ridiculous statements I've ever heard. To quote Harvey Milk "If children were that greatly influenced by their teachers (or other authoritative figures) we would have a lot more (priest and) nuns running around". In fact, you can find many homosexuals that were raised in a strictly heterosexual household, with conservative parents, in a predominately heterosexual society, so why then do people become homosexual. What good does divorce show children? If you want to take the extreme stance you can say it just proves for them to quite when the going gets tough and never having to stick anything out. We can also go as far to say, as Ann Coulter (the outspoken conservative) herself has said "single mothers are the downfall of the American Society." So with that being the case we should outlaw divorce.

Until gays in this country have the right to marry I am going to be starting and signing every petition I see to outlaw divorce. I mean if we are going to be a strictly conservative Christian nation (although we'll have to pick which type of Christianity: Roman Catholic, Bapitist, Latin Rite, Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Assyrian Church of the East, Lutheranism, Methodists, Presbyterianism and the list can go on and on but I guess we'll figure that out later) then we should go all the way. I was always taught that if you were going to do something do it 100%, (but as a supporter or homosexuals I might be mistaken if I am can someone please tell me the verse in the Bible where God say thult shalt half ass thy ways so that thu can claim to do good but not only to thus own satisfaction).

So let's get out and do what we gotta do and get this thing going!!!
